Unlike other boots I've had, the caiman skin covers the entire shoe part, not just the front. Leather and stitching in good shape when I got it.Toe design excellent, minimizes foot size yet not too pointy, sole hugs the outline of foot as it should, doesn't extend too far and so avoids "sidewalk" around the foot. Only complaint (and reason I withhold the fifth star) is that it gives a bit of ankle irritation from where the shoe and upper part are sewn together, so far have fixed that by wearing longer thick socks, will see if this problem stays or goes away with age. Long sock works so far.
