I've put about 50 miles on them, so they're relatively new still. My first impression was that they were a little weak in the instep. I didn't get support there while scrambling. The soles are a little thinner than what I'm used to and I've actually hurt my toes when I accidentally kicked a rock. The boots need longer laces and getting into the boot is a project due to the narrow opening that, I'm sure, is set up to give you ankle support. It took about 20 miles before I finally got them broken in.I have two other Five Tens. I have Camp Fours and Canyoneers.
